The problems that 2020 created or emphasized continue to afflict vulnerable members of our communities in 2021. The Food Bank is feeding more individuals than ever before, domestic violence calls have almost doubled, and children who used to attend camp in person didn’t have the opportunity to experience those safe, educational communities.

UWCC supports more than a dozen local nonprofits which have nimbly and creatively adjusted to the “new normal”.

Camps have become camp in a box - delivered by singing volunteers and filled with games, books, meals and resources for child survivors of sexual violence.

The Mobile Food Pantry has maintained operations, masks and safety protocols in place, and is still able to share healthy food and preparation tips with clients. 

Survivors of domestic violence have been able, despite the severe housing shortage, to find safe, affordable places to live because
of donations like yours.
